How’s it going!
It’s been a rainy past week down here at Robots HQ, but that certainly hasn’t held us back from bringing you all some really cool updates! We finished out our giveaway, and because the response was so great, we ended up doing another one. If you are interested, you can click here for your chance to win some Two Robots goodies. Beyond that, we have been doing a ton of play testing and refinement to the game — Omar is going to follow up in the coming weeks to a quick rule tweak we made that has simplified the game a lot. There was a lot of thought process and data that went behind it, and I think you all will enjoy the inner workings of game design.
Laser Etched Tiles
We tasked ourselves with building some cool utility for the game, and one of the things that immediately came to mind was a turn counter. This isn’t something that will immediately ship with the base Two Robots game, but will be offered within our Kickstarter. We had a lot of variations of them, some on wood, some on acrylic, until we found the perfect looking tile. Check out the pictures below of our work in progress.

Our first attempt, turns out we burned it a little by accident

3D Printed Model
We have enlisted a few 3D modelers that we know to digitize some of our robots and make them printable. We think this will be a really cool piece of art that people will be able to enjoy for some time to come.

Sidenote: I love 3D printing. I tried to print a version of the model below and it failed. I guess I didn’t have the right supports. Have you all tried your hand in 3D printing? If so, we would love to hear from you about it.
Aaron's attempt at 3D printing, leave it to the experts 😆
Beyond that, we have just been grinding away at Two Robots HQ trying to make this the best possible gaming experience for you all. Interested in different content or like what you see? We would love to hear from you!
Till next time,
