Introducing Solar Robots

Today we are introducing to you a brand new robot type, the solar robot. The solar robots design borrows heavily from todays influences with generating solar power. As you can see on its back, it has solar panels which help it generate power.
Storyline
Though we were once uncertain of approaching Your Grand Light
You welcomed us with warmth and filled us with Your Brilliant Might
Though separate we must remain, a hemisphere away
Your presence we will glorify through our dark eternal day...

Acting as a planet's primary energy source, the Solar Bots stand in formation just outside of city limits, linked hand in cuff for miles to connect their literal power grid to the local Department of Energy's Distribution Plant. Those traveling from one planet to another may be greeted from below by the beauty of vast shimmering fields, the most glorious of which can be found, as expected, in Civardus, where hundreds of thousands of bots are stationed in perpetual daylight, supplying much needed energy to the residents of the Permanox Hemisphere.
